Free myrecovery app

Need help with your joint or muscle pain? Download the free myrecovery app – launching 5th August 2024!

If you are registered with a GP Practice within Shropshire, Telford and Wrekin, you can access the free myrecovery app to help you manage your joint or muscle pain.

The myrecovery app has been created for you in partnership with healthcare professionals from across Shropshire, Telford & Wrekin, and provides information, support and encouragement to help you take control of your health. 

You can download the app on a smartphone or tablet to help you with new or recurrent musculoskeletal conditions including:

  • Hip Pain
  • Knee Pain
  • Shoulder Pain
  • Elbow Pain
  • Foot & Ankle Pain
  • Lower Back Pain
  • Neck Pain

The app offers a range of key features including:

  • Videos and articles to help you understand, manage and improve your condition
  • Tailored exercise programmes
  • Information about local services and how to access them
  • Short surveys to track your progress
  • Information and guidance to help improve your overall health and wellbeing

How to sign up

Click this link to register – Register here. You will need to provide your NHS number and date of birth to set up your account. If you don’t know your NHS number, follow this link: https://www.nhs.uk/nhs-services/online-services/find-nhs-number/.

If you develop a new condition, you can re-register for the app to access additional support.

May 2024 – Bank Holiday practice closures

Belvidere Medical Practice will be closed on the following Bank Holidays:

  • Monday 6th May 2024
  • Monday 27th May 2024

The practice will re-open as normal at 8am on the Tuesday after each Bank Holiday.

Opening times for Easter 2024

The practice will be closed over Easter as follows:

  • Closed Friday 29th March 2024
  • Closed Saturday 30th March 2024
  • Closed Sunday 31st March 2024
  • Closed Monday 1st April 2024

We reopen on Tuesday 2nd April 2024 at 8am.

Information about software issue that prevents documents from being visible to patients

We understand that some of our patients may have encountered difficulties viewing certain documents (e.g. letters from the hospital) due to a software problem. We sincerely apologise for any inconvenience this may have caused. We are pleased to inform you that this issue has been resolved for new documents being added onto the system. It may take up to a month for older documents to become visible. 

Your GP team will have been able to access the letters so your care will not have been affected during this time.
