May 2024 – Bank Holiday practice closures
Belvidere Medical Practice will be closed on the following Bank Holidays:
- Monday 6th May 2024
- Monday 27th May 2024
The practice will re-open as normal at 8am on the Tuesday after each Bank Holiday.
Opening times for Easter 2024
The practice will be closed over Easter as follows:
- Closed Friday 29th March 2024
- Closed Saturday 30th March 2024
- Closed Sunday 31st March 2024
- Closed Monday 1st April 2024
We reopen on Tuesday 2nd April 2024 at 8am.

Information about software issue that prevents documents from being visible to patients
We understand that some of our patients may have encountered difficulties viewing certain documents (e.g. letters from the hospital) due to a software problem. We sincerely apologise for any inconvenience this may have caused. We are pleased to inform you that this issue has been resolved for new documents being added onto the system. It may take up to a month for older documents to become visible.
Your GP team will have been able to access the letters so your care will not have been affected during this time.
Advance notice: afternoon practice closure 22nd November
Belvidere Medical Practice will be closed for staff training on Wednesday 22nd November 2023 from 1pm.
Funeral details for Doctor Paul Mott
Requiem Mass at Shrewsbury Roman Catholic Cathedral, Town Walls on Wednesday 8th November at 12.15pm.
- Private Committal.
- Family flowers only please.
- Donations, if wished, would be gratefully received to the O’Connor Haematology Unit at the Royal Shrewsbury Hospital, for which purpose a collection box will be made available at the Cathedral.

Doctor Paul Mott
It is with sadness that we report the death of Doctor Paul Mott, who was a partner at Belvidere Medical Practice for over 30 years.
He died peacefully at home yesterday surrounded by his family.
Once we have information regarding the funeral arrangements, we will update this notice.
