- using the GP online system
- complete the slip that you receive with your medication each month by ticking the medication that you require and dropping this into the box available in the surgery
- if you are not able to any of the above, you can call the surgery after 10.30am
Note that the POD (Prescriptions Ordering Direct) service is no longer be available – if you were actively using this service, you will need to use an alternative method as listed above.
Medication Reviews
Patients on repeat medication will be asked to see a doctor, nurse practitioner or practice nurse at least once a year to review these regular medications and notification should appear on your repeat slip. Please ensure that you book an appropriate appointment to avoid unnecessary delays to further prescriptions.
If you notice your medication review date is overdue please discuss with reception who can book you in for any blood tests or review appointments due.
Please allow three full working days for prescriptions to be processed and remember to take weekends and bank holidays into account.
